Mupid®--One is an integrated gel casting tray, power supply and gel box all in one complete unit. It allows you to separate DNA or protein bands from 100bp to 23kb or 20k to 350kD in length. The system has been specifically designed to provide an extremely safe and easy to use system for all levels of experience.
Safe & Easy Handling
Interlock System - For the prevention of electrical shock, the main
power cannot be operated without the lid, an error sign is displayed on the timer panel.
Buffer Drains - The detachable power supply makes the discarding of buffer solutions simple and with buffer drains located at two of the tanks corners it can easily be drained away
Washable - The electrophoresis tank can be simply washed using boiling water. A water guide prevents water from dripping while opening the cover and provides good drainage when washing the unit.
Economical
Only 270 - 320ml of buffer and 50 - 120ml of agarose is required to run a gel.
Convenient
Large Sample Capacity - Up to 104 samples (96 samples + 8
markers) can be easily loaded with a multichannel pipette.
Heat Resistant Gel Casting Set - Agarose gel solutions up to
100ºC can be poured directly into the gel tray making gel-casting
times shorter.
Multichannel Pipette Compatible – The Comb teeth pitch
match multichannel pipette spacing.

Intelligent Power Supply
Timer Function: The timer can be set from 1 to 99 minutes
(includes an alarm). Continuous and pause modes are available.
Voltage Variation Range: Seven output voltages are available:
18 - 25 - 35 - 50 - 70 - 100 - 135V (constant). The peak voltage is
constant (140V) and the output level changes through the pulse
control.
Simple Operation: 'Timer", "Voltage Selector", "Run/Pause/Stop"
buttons.
Current Regulation: Rather than performing a forced shutdown
when the peak current is exceeded the Mupid®-One controls the
voltage so that it can maintain the current at or below peak value for continuous operation.
Storage of Set Values: Set voltage and timer values used in the
last experiment are automatically retained in the systems memory
(supports pausing).
