Sealed bases and overlapping lids protect tips from dust, dirt and microorganisms. The two-position lid allows autoclaving with the lid in the vent position.
These tips are certified DNase, RNase, DNA and pyrogen free.

- The shaft and tip-ejector fit inside the Shaft-Guard tip, protecting them from accidental contamination
- This reduces the need to decontaminate or sterilize the pipette shaft and tip-ejector when working with biological, radioactive or other critical samples
Contamination-free tip ejection
- Most pipette tips are ejected by the tip ejector pressing on the top edge of the tip, but with ShaftGuard tips, the tip ejector is enclosed by the tip and ejects the tip by pressing on the ‘shoulder’ inside the tip
- This affords furthers protection against contamination
Longer for micro-tube access
- ShaftGuard tips are significantly longer than standard micro-10 tips fro easier access into micro-centrifuge and PCR tubes
- Use with 2 and 10µl pipettes with traditional and conical shafts
