Gilson’s Microman® is a fully adjustable, positive-displacement pipette that, together with its disposable capillary pistons (CPs), will ensure accuracy and precision

  • Ideal for problem liquids: samples that are viscous, dense, volatile or potentially dangerous (e.g., gels, plasmids, solvents, whole blood). Microman is widely used in molecular biology, forensic science and PCR studies, as well as petrochemistry, food & beverage, cosmetics, etc.
  • Contamination-free pipetting and protection for the user—no contact between the sample and the pipette, even when aerosols or corrosive vapors are present.
  • Every Microman is engraved with an identification number and each pack of capillary pistons bears a batch number for traceability.
  • Microman is particularly well suited for use in the sensitive molecular biology field and for use with hazardous or radioactive compounds.
  • Combining the versatility of positive displacement with the security of no touch disposable capillaries and pistons. Safe, accurate pipetting even for liquids than other pipettes just can't aspirate.

    Capillary Pistons (CP): CP1000

  • Capillary Pistons (CPs) are disposable and dedicated for use with Gilson's Microman® pipette. CPs are available in pre-assembled, sterilized and racked models.
  • No need for calibration when you change the CP
  • Continuous volume adjustment and direct digital display
  • Slim CP fits in even the narrowest and deepest tubes.
  • CP1000 tips are manufactured and packed by machine, which means they are free of contamination from nucleases or nucleic acids.
  • CP1000 tips are available racked in Tipack boxes for added protection.
  • Three CP models are available sterilized: CP1000ST. These models are certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, RNA, DNA and protease. The convenient hinged box protects virgin sterilized CPs from airborne contaminants.
