Rainin Pos-D Capillary Pistons are designed for Rainin Pos-D and MICROMAN® pipettes. The tips are racked in 3 packs of 60 tips and are sterile ensuring complete protection against contamination.
Problem-free Pipetting of Difficult to Handle Liquids
The Pos-D system is specially suited for liquids with high densities, viscosities or vapor pressures. Given the disposable capillaries and pistons, positive displacement absolutely eliminates cross-contamination from aerosols, samples or pipette.
A disposable piston, which moves within a plastic capillary, makes direct contact with the liquid.
The positive wiping action of the piston against the capillary wall assures complete dispensing without droplets.
The pre-assembled, sterile capillary tips are easy to use and also fit Gilson MICROMAN®.

The piston makes direct contact with the sample, ensuring reliable accuracy when pipetting liquids with different characteristics than water. Disposable capillaries and pistons ensure absolutely contamination-free pipetting.
Ready and easy to use
Simple to pick up and eject. There is no need to assemble pistons into capillaries before use as they are preassembled by a robotic process and put into covered racks – eliminating human contact. All capillaries and pistons are presterilized.
