KeyZyme Ready 2 Go Lambda EcoR1 Marker 100 apps

Serves as molecular weight standard for electrophoresis for agarose  gels.  Suitable for  the sizing of double-stranded DNA fragments.  The lambda DNA is completely digested with EcoR1 and yields 6 fragments whose sizes are as follows:

The ladder is stored at a concentration 0.1µg/µl in a buffer of 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0) and 1mM EDTA.

 Usage Recommendation

Use 0.5µg of the DNA marker per 1mm width of gel lane.

The ready-to-use products come with the tracking dyes  Bromophenol Blue and Xylene Cyanol already added.  The composition of the dyes

10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0)

60mM EDTA

0.03% Bromophenol Blue

0.03% Xylene Cyanol FF

60% Glycerol
