I used KAPA HiFi HS to amplify a 7kb component of the nuclear pore complex, which I had difficulties getting a clean amplification. The result was very satisfying and superior to all the other high-fidelity, proof-leading polymerases used in our lab.

The Kapa Illumina library quantification kit is easy to use and allows all types of Illumina libraries to be quantified quickly.
The kit contains a primer premix that is directly added to the 2x Kapa SYBR Fast qPCR Master Mix before use. Having the master mix already prepared helps to dramatically reduce the time spent setting up each qPCR plate. The kit also contain 6 DNA standards which allow quantification of library dilutions up to a concentration of 20 pM.
This kit has greatly helped us to create reproducible cluster numbers on each Illumina NGS run and platform used and is a real necessity for anyone quantifying Illumina libraries.

Biomax Transcreen MS is designed for increased radiation sensitivity with Kodak Biomax MS films. It is designed for 20.3x25.4cm or 8x10 inch films and includes a cassette. The minimum order is 5 packs

The MS Intensifying screens are designed to work with the Kodak Biomax MS Films, to give you 4 - 8 times hugher sensitivity and much shorter exposure times.The intensifying screen gives out green light whihc the MS film is extremely sensative. The unique "T-grain" emulsion technology of the MS Film gives you a two- to four-fold increase in sensitivity. This high sensitivity allows you to reduce a 72 hour exposure down to 16 hours. So if you are after short exposure times this is the film to go for! They are also very good with high energy isotopes such as 32P and 125I and ideal for Northern or Southern blots.
The screen also comes with a BioMax cassette. This cassette ensures intimate contact between the film and sample in a light-tight enviroment. This maximises both resolution and background clarity.
Due to the sensitivity of these products to light, we suggest taht they should only be exposed to the red Kodak GBX-2 safelight filter, 7.5 or 15 watt bulb only.
