I used KAPA HiFi HS to amplify a 7kb component of the nuclear pore complex, which I had difficulties getting a clean amplification. The result was very satisfying and superior to all the other high-fidelity, proof-leading polymerases used in our lab.

The Kapa Illumina library quantification kit is easy to use and allows all types of Illumina libraries to be quantified quickly.

The kit contains a primer premix that is directly added to the 2x Kapa SYBR Fast qPCR Master Mix before use. Having the master mix already prepared helps to dramatically reduce the time spent setting up each qPCR plate. The kit also contain 6 DNA standards which allow quantification of library dilutions up to a concentration of 20 pM.

This kit has greatly helped us to create reproducible cluster numbers on each Illumina NGS run and platform used and is a real necessity for anyone quantifying Illumina libraries.

Biomax MR 1 autoradiography single emulsion film is designed for Beta radiation. The size of the film is 20.3x25.4cm or 8x10 inches and packed in 50 sheets. The minimum order is 5 packs

The MR range of the Kodak BioMax films give you the best resolution of the BioMax range. The unique "T-grain" emulsion technology gives you a two- to four-fold increase in sensitivity. The BioMax MR single-emulsion film is ideal for sequencing gels as with the maximum resolution and clarity makes the reading of the gels easier and more accurate.

It is suitable for the detect ion of Low Beta Labels such as 35S, 33P and 14C. It will also give you excellent resolution for high Beta labels 32P and 125I, but the sensitivity is lower than the BioMax MS film. For chemiluminescence labels, BioMax MR again gives you high resolution and detection of these labels, however the sensitivity is lower than the BioMax Light Films.
