The third member of this family is the workstation assembly (5220-xx) which consists of the 5230 rack (without lid), clipped into the 5210 rack (with lid).
The popular 96 (8x12) position rack with lid (5230-xx) is designed to be used as a working or storage rack for pre- and post- PCR sample processing applications.
The rack works with SSI individual tubes, strip tubes and 96-well plates (except full skirt plates).
The spacing also makes this suitable and compatible with other manufacturers PCR tubes, tray/retainer sets and plates.
The PCR Workstation (5210-xx) is designed to hold all commonly used tube sizes.
This rack will hold up to 32 individual 0.2mL tubes; up to 24 x 1.5 or 2.0mL tubes and 16 x 0.5mL tubes on the same side; making this is an ideal platform to satisfy all pre- or post- PCR sampling applications.
All tube wells have molded alphanumeric indexing for fast and accurate identification of individual tube samples
