PCR Plastics

Quality plastic consumables are essential for successful PCR. All Anachem PCR plastics are made from the finest virgin polypropylene and guaranteed contamination free. Uniform thin walled tubes and wells ensure rapid and consistent thermal transfer to provide optimal yields. FrameStar™ two-component "binary" plate technology minimizes evaporation enabling assay volume reduction and cost savings. Combined with the rigid polycarbonate frames that prevent warping and facilitate precise robotic handling, these advanced plates maximise PCR performance.

I have been using KAPA SYBR reagents for the last year to study alterations in gene expression in Squamous Cell Carcinoma using an ABI 7500 realtime PCR system. KAPA SYBR reagents have allowed me to produce robust reproducible data validating microarray, protein array and western blot data at the RNA level.
